This is actually one of the best quality cat purchases I’ve made. It’s extremely easy to assemble and extremely sturdy! I have a really fat cat and a high king sized bed, so he needs steps to get up onto the bed. What I love also about this is that it is higher than most pet steps. It has great carpet fabric that matches my cream carpet decor and I can use the extension on my vacuum on it when I clean. Easy to assemble, cats love it!!
I have looked at so many pet steps and many of them are very expensive and not tall enough. This one is perfect!! I have a very high four-poster bed, so I really had to search for one that was the right height, It was very easy to put together, since I had to do so myself. Easy to clean as well. All 3 of my kitties use it, my 1 year old thinks it's her own personal jungle gym. The older cats use it all the time to come up and get cozy on my bed with me. Great for cats
Nice set of stairs, plus it doubles as a scratching post. Lightweight, but not flimsy. Only issue I had was that I am not good at putting things together without very specific instructions and the picture that came with it had no words, just a picture of how to attach things, which is very easy to do. I made the mistake of putting the posts on the base first, which is wrong, so had to take it apart and redo it, putting the stair treads on the posts, then attaching the posts to the base. Not the fault of the item, but something to be aware of if you are as mechanically inept as I am.Nice set of stairs, plus it doubles as a scratching post. Lightweight, but not flimsy. Fat Cat Cries No More
My cal-king is very high off the floor and my fat kitty had been struggling to get on and get off. She would have to jump, claw-on, and pull herself the rest of the way. Occasionally, she'll fall backwards and refuse to come back up out of embarrassment. She is a proud cat. She can jump down, no problem. Gravity is both a friend and foe. I always hear a "thump" and sometimes a sharp "meow" as her weight hits the floor. No way this could be friendly for my fat cat's little joints. The moment I erected this game changer: she waltzed over, took a sniff, and walked up step by step until she reached the top a champion. She did a little turn and walked backed down, as-if to say "I got this!". This sturdy 4 step pet stair is great. Really solid, easy to assemble, and very good quality carpet. I have an 11 year old mainecoon. She could not get on the bed with a 3 step, so now with this 4 step, she's in heaven. Most people have newer pillow top or select comfort beds, they sit very high. This 4 step stair is the answer and at a great price. I did not include a picture in the review because again, it is exactly as pictured on eBay. Great for older cats and dogs alike.
